• Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Illinois, Chicago Circle.
• University of Illinois College of Dentistry and graduated in 1971.
• Served two years in the US Army.
• Taught clinic dentistry two days a week at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry for eighteen years.
  Joined the board for the Chicago Dental Society and was the Program Chairman for the 2007 Midwinter Meeting at McCormick Place.
• Participated in career days at Mendel for many years.

As a proud graduate of Mendel prepared me to attend college and continue to graduate school to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During my years as a dentist, I treated many Augustinians. Later in my career, I was a consultant for the dispersed payments from the Augustinian Health Trust Fund.
