- Five-time Chicago Catholic League Track and Field Champion; Catholic League record holder in 1600 and 3200 meter runs
- Two-time All-State in Cross Country and Track Chicago Catholic League Hall of Fame
- Illinois State University full athletic scholarship
- Four-time Missouri Valley Cross County All-conference; 2nd Individual Conference Two-time qualifier to NCAA cross country championship meets
- Four-time Missouri Valley Track All-conference
- Very active as high school coach of cross country and track/field in Springfield, IL. Coached 12 athletes to All Conference honors and 9 to All-State honors
