Mom's Meat Loaf

1 lb. of ground beef or bison
1/4 of a large yellow or white onion (chopped medium to fine)
2 stalks of celery (chopped medium to fine)
1 whole egg
1/4 c. liquid (water, milk, or coconut milk unflavored)
1 cup or 2-3 handfuls of regular oatmeal (I use organic from bulk; not quick cooking)
seasonings: 2 -3 shakes of salt, black pepper; to your preference: oregano & basil, sometimes ground sage.
Cooking Instructions:
Mix so ingredients are evenly distributed, and all the oatmeal is completely wet and mixed.
Place in a baking pan and form into the shape of a loaf.
Add catsup and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
