We’re excited to announce our upcoming R.O.M.E.O. (Random Old Monarchs Eating Out) event, scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2024. This gathering promises to be a delightful blend of camaraderie, nostalgia, and fun at Ballydoyle Irish Pub & Restaurant, located at 5157 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515. The event will run from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Hosted by our very own Bill Duffy from the class of ’64, this luncheon is an excellent opportunity to reunite with classmates, share stories from the past, and create new memories together. Not only will you enjoy a delicious meal and the company of fellow Monarchs, but you’ll also have the chance to participate in a split-the-pot raffle. Plus, there will be sales of Mendel hats, shirts, beer glasses, and stickers for you to take home a piece of Mendel pride.

The cost for this event is set at $25 per person, which covers the luncheon. We’re also pleased to announce that a portion of the revenue will be donated to the Mendel Alumni Association Legacy Award, directly supporting Mendel Legacy High School Seniors. This contribution is a wonderful way to give back to our community and support the next generation of Mendel Monarchs.
