Mendel Alumni Spotlight: Michael Mason ’74

A wonderful story featuring Michael Mason, Mendel Catholic High School Class of 1974.
After a distinguished 23-year career with the FBI, where he rose to executive assistant director, Michael Mason found another way to serve. During a school bus driver shortage in Chesterfield County, Virginia, he stepped forward and became a school bus driver to help students and families in his community.
As Mason told CBS News, “I’ve done some important things, but guess what? This is important, too.”
That spirit of service, humility, and leadership is exactly what generations of Mendel men have carried into the world.
Congratulations to Michael Mason ’74 on this well-deserved recognition.
Non Ducor, Duco.
